Getting Ready

In 2 weeks, a plane will carry me away from this bitter cold winter weather to the Carribean for a four week Medical Spanish Immersion program in the Dominican Republic. Already I've begun packing and preparing gear. I'm excited and apprehensive at the same time. This blog is part of that preparation. I will be attempting to keep up to date with it so my friends and family can follow my travels and perhaps visit the Dominican vicariously.

Enjoy!

Gracia,

Joel and I were thrilled to get your email!!! How absolutely exciting!!! We've wondered how you've been doing. Go ahead and write us - we check our email daily and always respond. I'll be checking your blog frequently. I still have the pictures you took of Dan & Sam - they're quite different and taller now(in fact, Dan's taller than me!!) We think of you often - miss you.

Gracia, Thank you for allowing me to travel vicarioiusly with you around the world! I love it!

I look forward to sharing your experiences and pray the blessing of the Lord on all you do!

You are carrying on the Oliphant family heritage...did you know that? Many of the Oliphant ancestors were explorers and ministers. You are clearly both!
